School-wide Learning Expectations: STAR Students

Our School-wide Learning Expectations are embodied in the desire for all students to become STAR students. We incorporate this philosophy throughout our curriculum on a daily basis.

The acronym S.T.A.R. stands for Skilled Learners, Thoughtful Individuals, Active Christians, and Responsible Citizens. In grades K to 5 we promote awareness of our School-wide Learning Expectations by awarding STAR pins to those students who demonstrate exemplary STAR behavior. In Junior High we honor exceptional STAR students each quarter.
